- Assassin's Creed Mister Men and Little Miss books revealed - 22 April 2021
Ubisoft has announced a series of Mister Men and Little Miss books for its biggest Assassin's Creed stars. Six books will be released, with the first three being Mister Ezio, Little Miss Kassandra and Little Miss Eivor. While these at first might seem like parody novels, the series is being worked on by Adam Hargreaves, the son of original creator Roger Hargreaves and the current writer and custodian of new Mister Men and Little Miss books. Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rainbox Six Siege, Watch Dogs and a handful of other big Ubisoft series on PC are on sale for up to 75 per cent at Amazon. In most cases, it's the bulkier editions of the individual games that are reduced, so you'll often find they come with extra DLC and season passes already included. Not a bad way to catch up on some of these, then, if you've been waiting for a sale! Of the lot, the best deal is probably the Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Ultimate Edition for 24 . This version of the Grecian stab-em-up includes the Deluxe Pack and season pass as standard to add to the already mountains of content the base game offers. After a relatively lacklustre remastering effort with Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, Ubisoft has returned with Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered, an altogether more interesting effort. It's more than just a port of the PC version of the original release, with improvements to art asset quality, radically revamped lighting and a lot of tweaks to game mechanics. It's out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC but it's a shame that we have to wait until next month for the Switch version - the first time we've seen a mainline AC title arrive in handheld form. In the here and now though, there are still plenty of points of interest - and not just in terms of its visuals. The crafting system allows you to create weapons you could previously only buy, while the mini-map is much improved with a lot more information.
