It's been a while but we've made a small update to Paperbark! It's mostly just quality of life changes that are required for more modern machines and operating systems. We did a small fix to the cockatoos though, so I guess we technically nerfed them.We also gave the Steam page a fresh lick of paint. We've been working on a new game titled Wood & Weather and we have finally put out a trailer showing it off! Wood & Weather is a single player god-game set in a wooden toy city. Make friends and control the weather as an ethereal blue hand in a surprising little open world. 🌤 🌦 ⛈ ❄️ ☂️ 🍃 We originally showed this trailer off to a crowd of 400 people as a surprise during Parallels last year. Happy End of Year!! This year has been pretty big and very busy for us at Paper House! We've been working on a new game and setting up a new small studio for us to work out of. It was one of the hardest things we've ever done and are still very proud of our humble little game. Paperbark (which started as a small Uni project) has taken us overseas, given us everlasting experiences and allowed us to meet some life long friends. - Happy Wattle Week! - 3 September 2020
It's a wonderful time of the year where we get to celebrate the changing of seasons and the arrival of our favourite yellow flower, wattle. For some people who don't know, wattle (Acacia) is a type of bush/scrub and is native to Africa and Australia. We have lots of different types here in Australia and one of them in particular (Acacia paradoxa) features quite a lot in Paperbark. Each year on September 1st, we put some time aside to appreciate all of the beautiful yellow flowers coming into bloom around us. We like this time oh year a lot and because of this we have put Paperbark on sale. We've just sent out a small update for Mac and Windows to fix a couple of small known issues. - Fixed a visual issue when dragging library stickers. - Fixed a rare case where the cicada sticker would not unlock after finding the final cicada. - Fixed an macOS issue where the game would sometimes hang on the Paper House splash screen. - Increased the 'Wombat Rush' achievement time from 16min to 18min.
