  Wow I never made announcements here, huh? Well, how’s this for the first one: Space Fox Kimi is now free to play! As you may know, I’ve since remade Space Fox Kimi into Fuchian Chronicles, which has now been out for a year. To celebrate the anniversary, I’ve decided to make Space Fox Kimi permanently free to play! So what’s new in Fuchian Chronicles? Have a look for yourself! Visual quality and gameplay improvements aside, the main difference between Fuchian Chronicles and Space Fox Kimi is that the narrative is far more focused in the remake and doesn’t have as many “random plot threads that go nowhere”. That’s not to say there aren’t similarities, and you’ll find a couple familiar plot points if you’ve played both, especially in the first three chapters. • Announcing Fuchian Chronicles! - 18 November 2021

  Announcing Fuchian Chronicles, a remake of Space Fox Kimi! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1789050/Fuchian_Chronicles/ I know I previously stated that I would like to make a sequel, but after looking at Space Fox Kimi again, I decided that doing a remake first would be best. Space Fox Kimi is my first game as a developer, and it definitely shows. Since the sequel will be heavily impacted by the events of the first game, I would hate it if players were turned off from playing the sequel because of how rough the original is. I’d like to make it a feature where your choices in the first game affect part of the sequel, so having a more polished first game will help a lot there too. • Game Breaking Bug Fixed! - 26 July 2021

  The bug where you get hardlocked after seeing a certain scene in Chapter 3 of the game has now been fixed! Please load your latest save and revisit the area and it should be working now. My sincerest apologies for the long delay, I wasn't aware of the bug until now because I had stopped checking the community tab. Thank you for your patience, and I hope those who were stuck there enjoy the rest of the game!

I fully intend to make a sequel to Space Fox Kimi, but I want to be able to make a quality game that does the story I have in mind justice. As such I've been experimenting with new techniques, new maps, and new gameplay elements that will all contribute to the sequel. • Christmas DLC and Special Announcement - 28 December 2018

  I have a couple of announcements this time. It’s probably going to end up more like a blog type post so please bear with me here. First of all, the Christmas DLC: “A Very Kimi Christmas” is now released and available for free to owners of Space Fox Kimi. It’s a short, silly, non-canon story about the foxes’ first Christmas on Earth. I wanted to release this in time for Christmas, but a last minute trip overseas made that impossible. Hopefully you’ll still like it. Second, I’m afraid this DLC will be the last one I’ll be releasing for the foreseeable future. While I would love make other DLC to flesh out other aspects of the story and universe, I am a solo indie game developer with bills to pay, and unfortunately free DLC doesn’t really help with that. • The Battle of Mochi Prime free DLC released! - 30 November 2018

  The second free DLC for Space Fox Kimi, "The Battle of Mochi Prime", is now available! The Galactic Foxian Empire planned a daring operation to end the war with the United Bunny Federation. The fleet has gathered, the preparations are ready, the battle of Mochi Prime is about to begin! In celebration, Space Fox Kimi will go on sale starting Dec 1st for two weeks at 85% off! It comes with both DLCs and any future DLC!

• Free Upcoming Bonus Content - 20 September 2018

  I will be releasing some free extra content for this game as DLC in the coming months. These will be shorter side stories that didn't make it to the main game for one reason or another. The first, Space Fox Kimi and the Interstellar Fortress, will be released within a few days. Look forward to them!

• Game Rebalance - 13 September 2018

  It has come to my attention that parts of the game are unnecessarily difficult. After thinking about it and doing some more testing, I realized that was the case and made the following changes: - Buffed maximum energy of GFE Cruisers to 750 from 330 - Reduced energy cost of “Emergency Repairs” to 50 from 70 - Automatically recover some HP and Energy when entering space in Chapter 3 - Reduced chance of random encounters in Chapter 3 You should still be able to play your existing saves, though it's recommended to load a save that's before entering the space map in Chapter 3. Please feel free to leave any other feedback for this game that you may have. Thank you!
