There are now 38 neural TTS voices instead of ten — from game characters to new narrators — each previewable right in the list, and numbers are finally read out as proper words. The chat has learned to remember viewers: a person's first message ever gets a "FIRST MESSAGE" badge, and restarting the app doesn't wipe that memory. Events from donation services no longer show up and get voiced twice, donations via the donatty group link arrive again, and Twitch bits became a fully configurable event. An update about donations and about keeping what you configured. DonationAlerts connects again — the service changed its alerts page and the app stopped understanding it; that was the cause of the complaints about the previous version. YouTube Super Chats are back after being missing since early July, and amounts in currencies other than the dollar are finally calculated correctly — they used to be inflated. DonatePay no longer loses donations and StreamLabs no longer shows the same one twice. Settings stopped disappearing: the settings file now holds what you actually chose, not whatever managed to render in the window. After a dropped connection the chat no longer buries you in old messages, and your stream viewers will not see them in the widget either. An update about staying out of your way. VK connects again, Rutube finds a live stream from a channel link, and there is a new platform — w.tv. Speech stopped reading routine noise out loud, and your chosen voice no longer disappears on its own. The floods of error windows that could bring a machine to its knees are gone. An update no longer lands on top of a running app — it closes itself, and other installations are left alone. Friends, we see your messages about YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms. We understand that waiting is frustrating, especially when you need sheepChat during a live stream. We want to explain why the update has not been released yet. The YouTube fix is already ready. This update also includes fixes for TikTok and a number of other important changes.However, these fixes are currently part of a larger patch that affects many internal parts of sheepChat: platform connections, message processing, authorization, stability, and the overall connector system. Because of this, we cannot simply “quickly pull out” only the YouTube fix and release it separately without risking breaking other features. Dear streamers,We are aware of the issue with connecting YouTube via @profile and are already working on a fix. A patch will be released on Steam soon. The issue is caused by YouTube changing the format and the way stream data is retrieved. Because of this, sheepChat currently may not be able to get the list of active streams when connecting via @profile.At the same time, connecting via a direct stream link still works. As a temporary workaround, please use a direct link in the following format: Paste it into sheepChat instead of connecting via @profile — the chat should connect correctly. Earlier today, there was a large-scale availability issue affecting part of the network infrastructure of external providers. As a result, some users may have experienced connection interruptions or increased latency.We performed a set of measures on our side to minimize the impact of the incident: traffic was redistributed to stable channels and routes were updated. The issue has now been resolved, and the services are operating normally.If you are still experiencing connection issues, please clear the DNS cache in your operating system or restart your device/router.
