Support for Knuckles controllers and Vive Index has been added! Tribetoy the company that made the game was acquired and no longer exists. The BTB IP was not part of the acquisition and thus does not have any official support. I can only work on this in my spare time and now that I have a kid, I don’t have a lot, but I did the best I could to bring you index support. I had to make some control mapping tradeoffs because the knuckle controllers need their own unique input manager that is not compatible with the cross platform PSVR based input system Bow to Blood was built on. Saddly replacing a cross platform input system is no small task and not something I can do alone with the time I have. • To Grip you’ll need to use the B buttons rather then the grips. Bow To Blood: Last Captain Standing from Tribetoy is an odd beast – a VR-optional first person sky-ship shooter, framed as a Survivor-style space reality TV show and with light roguelike elements. It’s out now on PC, expanded and free of its future-goggle requirements after a stint as a PlayStation VR exclusive. Players juggle steering their ship, directing its guns at larger foes, personally zapping smaller enemies with their sidearm from the deck, and directing crew to man various stations. - Bow To Blood sails from PSVR to flat PC screens in April - 5 February 2019
Despite a brutal-sounding title, Treasure Planet-ish space-pirate shooter Bow To Blood: Last Man Standing looks like a cheerful affair. Originally a PSVR exclusive, developer Tribetoy’s PC version has a longer title and won’t require futuristic space-goggles, but will support them. It’s an intriguing cocktail of weird ideas – wooden sky-ships with laser cannons compete in a Survivor-styled reality TV event to be the last still sailing. There’s even a little bit of roguelike in there, with each playthrough being a ‘season’ of episodes with random competitors and events. See the PC version trailer below. (more…)
