Exciting news everyone! Game Grotto Developers Don and Meg will be at Emerald City Comic Con, March 2nd - 5th. We will be in the Exhibitor Hall at booth 10043 from 10am to 6pm all days of the convention. We will have teasers and trailers featuring the new indie game titles being worked on by Game Grotto, and most importantly, a custom-built arcade cabinet for B.O.T.S. and the Robofriends! Today marks the 2nd anniversary of B.O.T.S. and the Robofriends and its release on Steam. Today is a day we remember the milestone that was met when Game Grotto Softworks released their first indie game title. But we also look back and reflect on the lives of those effected by the COVID 19 Pandemic in the year of our release, 2020. Two years ago today, the Game Grotto crew was set to attend conventions around the American west coast and share their game with the thousands of gamers. But the reality of COVID 19 made interacting with fans of the game, once a moment of celebration for the hardworking individuals who worked on the team, a distant dream. Hi there friends! Game Grotto is working on several updates and new features for B.O.T.S. and the Robofriends - and we want to get you in the loop. Here are a list of the awesome additions we plan to release in coming months. 3D Animated cut scenes All of the 2D comic-book style cut scenes will be replaced with 3D animated cut-scenes, giving new life to Story Mode. A hidden unlockable character An unlockable character will be made available. We can't say much more than that for now - because you know spoilers. Four unlockable comic books Progressing through Arcade Mode will unlock comic book pages. These pages feature the Bots and tell their backstories from before the attack on Innovation Robotics.
