Another day, another batch of Game Pass additions, with this selection being spread out across the end of June and beginning of July. The Xbox Wire blog shared this half of the month's Game Pass additions earlier today, and there seems to be a little something for everyone. First up is Need for Speed Unbound via EA Play, the most recent and incredibly stylish entry in the racing game series, which you'll be able to play on PC from June 22 - you'll be able to stream it through the cloud too. We have released a new version of STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town. BuildID: 5299674 We have received reports of users being unable to launch the game on Windows 10. We have determined the cause for some users and implemented a “Compatibility Mode” for the game which may fix the issue for affected users. Specifically, this mode will not use AVX to speed up processing, since it is incompatible with some older CPUs. In order to launch in Compatibility Mode, please select “Play Compatibility Mode (互換モード)” from the launch options. This mode can also be selected through the Configuration Tool, as a checkbox beneath the “Save & Launch” option. Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town , Xseed Games’ same-subtitled remake of the 2003’s Harvest Moon release, is now out on Steam. Once again, we likely have Stardew Valley to thank for taking the tough row to hoe by clearing fertile ground for farm and town simulators on PC. Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town —a remake of the Harvest Moon game from 2003 with the same subtitle—was first announced last summer for the Nintendo Switch. This summer, Xseed Games have announced that the remake is blooming on PC as well, ripe enough to harvest on July 14th. (more…)
