- Easy Mode, One Shot Boss With One Special Skill Lv1. - 7 October 2025
English: Now, for those who want to finish the game quickly, you will receive a level 1 skill that kills anything with a single blow. (At least you can enjoy the story, puzzles, dialogues, maps, and music.) If the battle bores you or is too difficult for you, use the skill, move on, and at least you'll be able to finish the story. I made my game too difficult, I know, forgive me, but I created it to challenge myself, because all the other RPGs bored me with their ease x'D haha. - Massive bug fix and improvements, and size of the game reduced - 2 January 2022

- Luria and defining where a game ends - 14 January 2020
I'm currently reading Lawrence Weschler's wonderful memoir And How are You , Dr Sacks? It's a book about his forty year friendship with the neurologist Oliver Sacks. Every page seems to contain something worth noting down. I was particularly struck by a section in which Sacks talks about his great hero, the Russian neuropsychologist A. R. Luria. Luria's someone whose work I've circled for a while without ever having the nerve to head in. Now I realise I must, because Sacks quotes just one line of Luria's, and I am besotted. Luria's talking about the body. "The thing is," says Sacks, "he would grasp the character or nature of various things as a whole. . A sentence of his that has truly resonated for me was, 'The body is a unity of action' - since for others it's just 'a mass of tissues' - 'and that which is cut off from the unity of action is unbodied. '" Sacks loves that line, and so d…
- There's going to be an official Destiny cookbook - 25 November 2019
Fried chicken dominates the front cover of Destiny: The Official Cookbook, a genuine recipe book on the slate for release in August 2020. Written from the perspective of Destiny's ol' Eva Levante, this culinary companion claims it will "inspire fans to go on their own culinary adventure through the solar system". The front cover appears to suggest this means fried chicken, sausage rolls and coleslaw. Read more
- New Borderlands 3 gun Good Juju is Destiny's Bad Juju - with all the right perks - 23 November 2019
Borderlands 3 has added a new gun that tips its hat to one of Destiny's most famous weapons. The Borderlands 3 gun in question is a legendary assault rifle called Good Juju. Obviously, the name of the gun is a reference to Destiny exotic pulse rifle Bad Juju , which players of the first Destiny will know well. What's interesting though is it shares many of the perks of Destiny's Bad Juju, too. Good Juju, like Bad Juju, has burst fire. Good Juju, like Bad Juju, reloads on kill. Both guns have full auto. And even Good Juju's flavour text is a reference to Bad Juju. Good Juju: "Kinda, sorta wants to end all existence." Read more
- Five of the Best: Horizons - 22 November 2019
Five of the Best is a weekly series about things you probably don't pay attention to when playing a game. Things like backpacks, zip wires, hands - we've had an eclectic bunch so far . They sound insignificant but they provide essential flavour to a game, and you'll find they're welded to your memories of them. Try thinking about the best hands in games , for example - do any surface? Give it a moment: I bet a few appear. Hold onto that feeling - I want you to use it below. Let's try another, let's try today's: Five of the Best... Read more

- Five years later, Destiny fans finally reckon they know who the Nine are - 7 March 2019
Every week since Destiny 1 launched in 2014, players have been able to visit the mysterious tentacle-faced merchant X r, agent of the Nine. So popular was he, that whenever his stock refreshed players would drop everything to rush and see what he had brought (and games websites, blogs and YouTubers rushed to be the first to tell you about it). For as long as people have visited X r, agent of the Nine, people have wondered about his paymasters. Who or what were the Nine? Were they friend or foe? Why were there nine of them? In the many years since, Destiny has answered other questions left hanging by its labyrinthine lore, but kept this group firmly in the shadows. And so it's fitting, perhaps, players have finally been giving information on the Nine now with the launch of Destiny 2's shadowy-feeling Season of the Drifter. Fair warning, while the season launched yesterday, many of its va…
- The impossible architecture of video games - 12 February 2019
There is a saying in architecture that no building is unbuildable, only unbuilt. Structures may be impossible in the here and now, but have the potential to exist given enough time or technological development: a futuristic cityscape, a spacefaring megastructure, the ruins of an alien civilisation. However, there are also buildings that defy the physical laws of space. It is not an issue that they could not exist, but that they should not. Their forms bend and warp in unthinkable ways; dream-like structures that push spatial logic to its breaking point. The Tomb of Porsena is a legendary monument built to house the body of an Etruscan king. 400 years after its construction, the Roman scholar Varro gave a detailed description of the ancient structure. A giant stone base rose 50 feet high, beneath it lay an "inextricable labyrinth", and atop it sat five pyramids. Above this was a brass sp…
- Bungie announces split from Activision - 10 January 2019
Bungie has announced that it's parting ways with Activision, eight years after the companies began working together. The move will see Bungie assuming "full publishing rights and responsibilities for the Destiny franchise". Bungie and Activision initially joined forces in April 2010, when the two companies announced a 10-year publishing deal. That would eventually lead to the release of Destiny in 2014, and its sequel, Destiny 2, in 2017. The terms of its deal with Activision saw Bungie keeping ownership of the Destiny IP, while Activision owned full publishing rights. In a statement released today, however, Activision confirmed that, "we're announcing plans for Bungie to assume full publishing rights and responsibilities for the Destiny franchise. Going forward, Bungie will own and develop the franchise, and Activision will increase its focus on owned IP and other projects." Read more&…
