It was reported that the game doesn't start when updated. We've found the reason and discovered several ways to solve this matter: 1. Please backup your saves in Programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/House of Rules/www/save. After updating the game, paste the files you backed up into the same folder. 2. DO NOT change languages while playing. The language change can cause errors and the game may not start or load saves. 3. If Steam keeps showing error messages when starting the game, 3-(1) Restart Steam client and your computer. 3-(2) Try starting the game by starting the exe file named HouseOfRules in Programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/House of Rules. 3-(3) Press Ctrl, Alt, and Delete at the same time to open the task manager.
