The laser drill is a modified laser rifle that offers a large ammo capacity combined with high rate of fire and the ability to preserve ore while it cuts through regular terrain. It also uses cheaper ammo than other laser weapons. It's the ideal tool for tunneling in any direction and is fun to use! You can find it in the Pickaxe crafting menu.
