Patch notes 12 December 2023 — Septaroad Voyager Steam update #110995

Hi everyone! We've been working on Septaroad Voyager as you can see in our recent news. But we haven't been patching the game with everything we've added. Today we uploaded a relatively big patch. Here's what's in it: New bat enemies with a life-drain attack. The bats are fully integrated into the Early Access procedurally generated campaign. You'll see the bats pretty much everywhere you find spiders and undead. Now that I think about it, we should probably pair them with pumpkins too. Based on your feedback, we might also add tougher versions with elemental attacks. Fixed area-of-effect attacks. Enemies had been attacking themselves with AoE abilities, which would then mark themselves as hostile. Now AoE attacks are damaging only the intended targets. Beneficial AoE abilities that heal or buff allies likewise will only affect the intended targets. The confusion status effect reverses w...
