Hello Survivors.The Island has changed since you last set foot on it. Here's what's different.Character DevelopmentThe NPCs on The Island are the first faces you meet, and how you meet them shapes everything that comes after. We've reworked them in two ways.The first is making them feel alive. Our team has been reshaping how the NPCs move, giving each one a body language of their own. The Miner's belly laugh is deeper. The Cook waves her pan in the air threateningly. The Watchman stands with more confidence. Small things, but they add up.The second is giving our Project Manager's voice a rest. For those who don't know, our PM voiced a big chunk of the NPCs in the last playtest.
