October patch notes — Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts Steam update #1256779

Greetings snipers, Control has issued an update regarding the recent save game issues that a limited number of you reported following our September patch. At the time, we asked you to not pull the trigger and start a new game, as this could overwrite your existing progress. We’re pleased to confirm the issues identified with the save system have now been addressed in today’s patch: If you created a new save following the installation of the September patch, you will be able to continue your campaign with this new update. Similarly, any save games created before last month’s patch are also safe to continue. Unfortunately, any save games loaded during September’s patch are permanently gone due to unforeseen corruption issues.
