As some of you know, I ran into serious PC issues—two of them, actually. One got fried, and I lost about a year of progress. Then my HDD died for no apparent reason, and I lost another 6–7 months of work. That really killed my motivation for a while. On top of that, I had a job that required me to work around 10 hours a day for four years. After coming home from work, the last thing I wanted to do was sit at my PC again. Because of that, development slowed down significantly. That said, I never stopped working on the game completely. I’ve mentioned before how I sometimes worked on it: for example, while playing games like SMITE or PUBG—anything with downtime.
