Status Update 9/27/15 — Mars Colony: Frontier Steam update #199630

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who bought Frontier this weekend. Being completely honest, the release has been a bit rocky. We feel honesty is the best policy, so this update is with the intention of letting everyone know what is going on. Within the last few weeks of development, a terribly annoying, game-crashing bug started popping up: specifically with the game crashing upon opening the map.. Sometimes. This particular bug has been evading us despite hundreds of man-hours in testing. In an attempt to avoid this bug from being a problem for players and ruining the experience, the decision was made to revert to a slightly older build of the game before it was occurring in order to remove variables that could be causing the problem.
