Patch notes 17-06-2025 — Mistaken Steam update #238375

Steam Next Fest brought a wave of lovely new players to Mistaken — along with a ton of great feedback! I’m continuing to work hard on improving the game, and while not everything has been addressed just yet, here are the tweaks and features included in the latest patch:Resolution settings added with improved ultrawide support. (Note: A 16:9 aspect ratio is still recommended for the best visual experience.)Fishing drops rebalanced — now include some less desirable items to reduce the frequency of high-value catches. Further tuning may follow.Health indicators added to iron ore nodes.Dashing now negates damage from Whispers of Affliction orbs.Added sound effects when equipping/removing gear and scrolling, for improved feedback and clarity.Tooltips now correctly update when swapping equipment via right-click.Enemy spawns during chest swarm events reduced to ease difficulty spikes.It’s no lo...
