I’ve brought back the animals’ aggressive behavior: they’re dangerous again, and they can attack Tawa like they used to. Exploration feels tenser, and every encounter matters. At the same time, I’m seriously reconsidering the game’s overall structure. Instead of a fully open world, I’m leaning more toward a level-by-level progression, with story beats moving forward from one area to the next, all the way to the end. This would let me craft more focused zones, stronger pacing, and more impactful narrative moments. And this wouldn’t be a straight corridor. Even with separate levels, you’d still be able to backtrack, revisit earlier areas, return to points of interest, and unlock new paths or interactions as you progress—keeping that sense of freedom and discovery.
