There’s been a lot of discussion about AI art in the game, so just to clear things up: Much of the game’s artwork, music, 3D assets, and other creative work has been created in collaboration with artists or hand-picked from platforms such as Canva, Envato, and iStock. However, some AI-generated images did make their way into the game through these third-party assets without being clearly identified as such. With help from our community, we’ve been reviewing these assets individually and removing or replacing anything we can’t confidently verify. With a lot of help from people on our Discord, we identified around 40 2D assets out of roughly 1,460 art assets currently in the game, These 40 assets either appeared to be AI-generated or that we couldn’t confidently verify that they were not.
