Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta update released — Counter-Strike Steam update #34345

We have released a Beta update for Counter-Strike 1.6. You can access the beta by right clicking the game in your Library list, choosing "Properties" and going to the beta tab. Linux and OS X users will need to opt into this update also. Once you opt into the beta you will automatically receive future beta updates. Due to a Steam Client issue you will also need to have Half-Life 1 installed and also opted into the beta (using the method above) to receive beta updates right now, we are working on fixing this issue with a future Steam client release.
