Hello everyone! We’re excited to share the latest update to the Screech demo (0.8.0), addressing some critical bug fixes and enhancements based on your feedback. Here’s what’s new: Key Fixes & Improvements: Time Travel Bug Fixed We resolved an issue where the FOV would zoom out mid-time travel, and time travel itself could get locked up, preventing progression. This should allow for a much smoother gameplay experience. Last Room Soft Lock Fixed The trap door in the final room now closes upon entry, ensuring Astrix can’t get soft-locked after rewriting time for the Music Box in the present. This ensures the final puzzle is always accessible. Slow Walk Bug Fixed Addressed a bug where Astrix would sometimes be stuck walking at a slow pace, with no way to reset the speed.
