HEXCRAWL Early Access — Patch 0.9.12 Graphics Mode (new): Options → Graphics → Graphics Mode — Performance (usually smoother) or Compatibility (more reliable if the game hangs on a black screen after splash). Changing it restarts HEXCRAWL. Clear any old Steam launch options first (Properties → General → Launch Options). If the game still will not reach the title screen, the next launch should automatically try Compatibility. Graphics options: Anti-aliasing settings now match what the game actually uses (including Shop and Vault). In Compatibility mode, AA options are greyed out with a short note. Reset to Defaults restores Performance and the lean AA defaults. New Game: Smoother fade into the Callings screen when starting a new character.
