Patch Notes 1.0.4, June 23, 2023 — Candle Knight Steam update #41393

This is mainly a performance patch and should help immensely in both lower and higher resolutions as we overhauled most of the levels in the game. General Performance improvements in real-time cutscenes. Performance with Ultra Settings in 4K has been improved. Performance has been greatly improved throughout all areas. Adjusted collisions for the moving books section in the Library. Adjusted some Cameras being blurry or out of focus in late game. Optimization has been added to a lot of objects, textures and animations. Fixed a Combat Trial which would not reset after completing certain checkpoints and would not give the expected reward to players. Enemy AI Fixed an issue in which The Scholar would spawn facing the wrong way, which would cause players to be unable to continue past the second phase. Upcoming changes DLSS and Intel XeSS. Direct X12 implementation.
