Hello Survivors.Motes are the essence of life; the fifth element that alchemists on the mainland have chased for centuries. Every living thing carries them, and when a life ends, they linger. This week we cover changes to how you gather them, and a new way to spend them.Relic ReductionRelics used to be a dime a dozen. That has changed. We've lowered their drop rate and cut the total number of relics in the game from 27 down to 12. The ones that made the cut pull their weight, either by feeding directly into the lore we are building or by being worth a second look.With fewer relics on the ground, breaking them down at the Reliquary is no longer enough to keep a steady Mote supply. So we are adding other ways in. One of them is the newly updated quests on the town boards. More on that in another log.
