Hotfix and Double XP Week — Quake Champions Steam update #469508

Following our 5.10.17 update, we released two hotfixes to the backend (yesterday, October 5; and today, October 6) which should show some improvements to performance. We were able to upload these hotfixes without interruption to the game service. We will also need to release a client-side hotfix as soon as possible next week, which will resolve some further performance-related issues, including the crashes some players may be experiencing. We are currently testing this hotfix, and we will update players to let you know when it will go live.
