G String - Critical Issue Patch - Now in Open Beta! — G String Steam update #603088

Hello,Here is the open beta for a fairly substantial game patch. This patch is focused on the current version of the game, with the intent of making it a far more stable experience. Virtually every concern from launch has been addressed, it is being opened to the public so that we may better collect your feedback and find any remaining bugs. Please note this is NOT Ultimate Edition. More updates on that later! ChangelogIntro video and game should now run on Linux via proton. Reduced total game size by around 2 GB (via LZMA BSP/map compression). Fixed issue with VGUI not rendering properly. Fixed VGUI depth so the main menu now properly appears behind VGUI menus.
