This update brings a brand new healing system, permanent progression, and a major refinement of the moment-to-moment controls. 1. Estus (Healing Flask) SystemA rechargeable healing item system has been added.Usage: Gamepad Y button / Keyboard default "A" key Use when your health isn't full and you have at least one Estus charge. There's a brief delay when drinking, and taking damage will cancel the healing The HUD displays your Estus slots — bright icons for available charges, darker icons for used slots. 2. Permanent Kill SystemDefeating certain bosses and collecting special Estus items is now permanently recorded. Even if you die and respawn, bosses you've already defeated will not reappear.
