Version 0.9.6 is now out — Heroes of a Broken Land 2 Steam update #6887825

While playing the game combat felt duller than it should. One thing missing was impactful visual feedback during combat for many monsters. To provide a bit more punch there are now more unique effect on monsters. If you've never played the game before - and even if you have - this is the type think you might not explicitly notice, but these little details are what make games feel complete and polished. I expect to continue to polish the combat experience over the next few releases. Including better death effects and fixing some combat effects and tightening up some of the animations.
