Small Performance Patch and Announcement — Onward Steam update #700996

Hey guys, Today we are releasing a small patch to resolve a performance issue related to audio which a portion of our player base have been encountering. For many of our players this has led to degrading performance over time and experiencing a large amount of dropped frames during gameplay. This patch should greatly reduce these issues and bring with it improved CPU performance. We want to take the time to thank you guys for your patience and apologize for the radio silence. In addition to getting a fix out for the audio related issue we've been working on a lot of exciting new content ready for release later this month and we think you guys are gonna like it!
