v1.97 Patch Notes — DemonCrawl Steam update #950029

Hello, We have deployed a patch for DemonCrawl on the Windows stable branch. ⚠️ Context surrounding v1.96 crash: we determined that DemonCrawl would not launch when the device was connected via wi-fi due to a very old GameMaker runtime. After updating our tooling, this issue appears to be resolved in v1.97; we tested this new version on two separate Windows 11 devices--one connected via ethernet and the other via wi-fi--both of which worked fine. No ETA yet for other platforms as we're looking for player feedback regarding client stability. However, we're trying some server-side changes that may allow 1.96 to run on Mac and Linux - feedback would be appreciated on this as well. Note that 32-bit support has been retired as it's no longer available in GameMaker.
