HereSphere update v0.11.0 is now available. This update adds support for Autoblow devices, adds more info to the timestamp server, and fixes some bugs Autoblow Integration: Added support for Autoblow devices Input the Autoblow connection key into the synchronized peripherals menu (accessed by clicking on the icon that looks like a play button with radio waves above the seekbar) Scripts, manual oscillation, and manual script patterns are supported. The range feature only works for controlling oscillation range, since the Autoblow currently doesn't support altering the script range on the fly. Timestamp Server: Added fields "resource" and "identifier" to the timestamp server message. "resource" contains the actual url/path of the currently playing video file. "identifier" contains the scene url when using the HereSphere web API. Bug Fixes: Fixed issue with video thumbnails continuing to p…

HereSphere update v0.9.6 for PC is now available on the Steam default branch. This update adds DirectShow playback with support for VapourSynth/Smooth Video Project for realtime motion interpolation and better playback compatibility. DirectShow: To use the DirectShow player backend, download and install the K-Lite Codec Pack, and then go to the HereSphere user settings, and switch the player backend to "DirectShow". DirectShow offers much better codec compatibility than Media Foundation, so try switching to it if you have playback issues. In order to use Smooth Video Project with HereSphere, you'll need to setup VapourSynth. Install and update SVP, making sure that VapourSynth is selected for installation. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\avsf, right click the register.bat file, and run as administrator. In the HereSphere user settings, set the "VapourSynth Max Megapixels" setting to…

- Update for Beta Branch 8/27/2023 - 28 August 2023
Quality of life improvements: Added a "Toggle Favorite" keybinding (just before halfway down the keybindings list) that will toggle the current video's favorited state. Added an "Auto Create HSP" toggle to the user settings. The "Auto Update HSP" toggle has to be enabled for this toggle to be visible. When both toggles are enabled, HSP files will automatically be created and updated. Added a button to write the title of a streamed video (with restricted characters removed) to the script fallback directory. This title can be used to rename your script file so the fallback script will play when streaming a video. The button, which looks like a save icon, can be found in the synchronized peripherals menu next to the fallback script directory input box when playing a streamed video. Bug fixes: Video previews in the HereSphere web API view now properly pause when the menu is hidden. Force yt…

HereSphere update v0.9.4 for PC is now available on the Steam default branch. Event Server: The synchronized peripherals time offset is now applied to the playback event server, so the time reported to the event server is now offset by that value. The minimum reported playback time is 0, so if the time offset is negative and the video opens at time 0, you'll need to toggle play/pause or seek after the video starts for the time offset to properly be applied. When using the Handy with the playback event server (where scripts are controlled by a third party instead of HereSphere), the synchronized peripherals play/pause toggle and range settings will still work. Manual oscillation or manual pattern mode will also work. When disabling those manual modes, a video open message will be sent to the event server to force it to load the script again. It may take several seconds for the script to…
