  Development update! I have been quiet for a while (working on the game)Today is the Big Fall Showcase 2026, and NO LIFE: Zombie Survivor is part of it.I had an updated teaser trailer made for the event, which is now live on the Steam store page. It shows some of the game’s newer features, including grenades, mines, and the dog running around with his collection harness and wearable lawnmower.The funny thing is that the new teaser is already a little outdated!   Quick development update!Today is Steam Bullet Fest and NO LIFE: Zombie Survivor is part of it.I was hoping to have a demo ready for the event, but it’s still a bit too early as I want more time to polish the game before its release.Over the past month I’ve been working hard on optimization, with a big focus on making the game run smoothly on the Steam Deck as well.   Quick development update!Progress is moving steadily and I’ve now implemented 8 different ability paths, and I wanted to share something to let you know things are on track!One of the first featured paths will focus on your Dog companion. • Progress report: Trailblazer - 25 September 2025

  Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː I wanted to do a super small quick update note since I have been silent for almost 2 months (more dev work, less writing updates ːPfrogː )— I am currently working on the ability/skill tree system and wanted to show something from it. This is the TRAILBLAZER ability that belongs to the Incendiary Ammo ability tree. This powerful ability will ignite the ground as the bullet travels and burn anything in its path. It is really fun to make these different abilities and skills and I am trying my best to not just make it boring stat and number boosts (though there will be those also of course).   Hi everybody! ːPhhelperːI just wanted to do a small quick update from the development trenches — I’m currently working on the weapon selection and modification system. This will let you choose your favorite tools of destruction and tweak them to suit your playstyle.Selecting your equipment and modifying them will give you more control over how you take down the undead.Everything is still work in progress but things are coming together nicely so far. • Progress report: Some new zombie types - 6 February 2025

  Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː A small progress update on some of the things I have been working on. I've added three new zombie types to the game: police, military, and builder zombies. Each zombie type will have some "buffs" or abilities (exploding, running etc) though these 3 are the most basic with body armour for the police, helmet for the builder and both for the military. The armour gives some small protection while the helmet have a small change to also ricochet your bullet(s). • Progress report: New weapons implemented - 3 December 2024

  Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː I wanted to share a progress update on the game. I’ve been working on implementing various weapon types and have so far added a pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, and rifle. Each weapon handles and animates a bit differently, and I’ve spent a lot of time fine-tuning the small details to ensure they feel satisfying to use. Having these core weapons in place will make it easier to add new models later. I plan to include at least 12 weapons in the game, but likely more, along with attachments and other upgrades. Currently, I’m finalizing the art for different zombie types, focusing on a policeman zombie at the moment. • New Teaser Trailer for No Life - 28 October 2024

  Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː As stated in my previous post, No Life is still in development, perhaps too early to be shown properly, but I still wanted to put out a short teaser trailer with some small action from the game. You can now see the teaser on the No Life Steam store page! Currently, the teaser only shows one weapon (the pistol) and one zombie type (the normal slow one), but I actually have four weapons and about eight different zombie types in the game currently. However, I need to create proper graphics and polish them up before I can show them, which I hope to do in the next teaser.
