• Updates - 19 March 2023

  Hello everyone, Here are what we've been working on: -New Level generator with more capabilities such as procedural terrains. Anord will have playable levels with procedurally generated terrains. So expect levels that take place in forests, mountains. Also levels that have internal spaces (buildings and such) have been upgraded with more capabilities as well. -We've re-worked the inventory system. New system supports items with different sizes. So inventory management is a thing now. It is also compatible with gamepads -We've a new internal tool for Anord now. Besides its many uses this tool allows us automate game builds. Which means we'll be able to deliver faster once Anord is out. -We've added inventory item crafting. -Re-designed upgrade system -Re-designed main menu -Input customization and binding is in. -Localization system is in. We'll post more announcements on those features.…

• UI - Gamepad and Demo - 17 October 2021

  Hi ya! We've been busy with UI code and graphics + adding support for gamepads. We have several different types of in-game User Interface in Anord. -Informational UIs help with the lore. -Vendor and Loot UIs let use buy/sell items. -UI for Moving Platforms that have interaction. -UI for Weapon Crafting is where you open weapon component slots and attach a dropped weapon to component to it. - Upgrades UI is where you use your hard earned XP to power up your character. beside those we also have Inventory, Minimap and some smaller ones. Gamepads are a thing now. It needs a bit more testing but it is in at the moment. We want to release a demo in the coming month and get some feedback from everyone. Not to mention we're extremely excited about that! See you all in the next announcement!

• FX - 8 August 2021

  Hello everyone! We've been working hard on this update. On the visual/audial side we've added footstep, bullet impact, headshot sound and particle effects. We can play fx based on surface type. On the other side we've revamped our save system and scene loading system. We also added few more new animations for the player' abilities. The most important feature we're missing for demo release is related to the random level generation. We need to work on navigation surface generation after the level is generated. • New Player Animations and Stun - 27 June 2021

  Hello once more! This weeks update is pretty big. We started changing the Player Character' movement animations and added new abilities as well! You can now use Wall Cling, Wall Jump and Ledge Hang! All of those make traversing a level much smooth and also gives a more action packed combat. You can now stun enemies! When an enemy is stunned Player can get close to that enemy and perform "Stun Attack". We'll be adding the various Stun Attack animations in coming weeks. Also in the works for the next update: Sound and particle effects for Player animations. See you in the next update!

• Turrets and Shields - 20 June 2021

  Hi! We continue revamping the combat system with new features. We've added turrets and shield for player. Currently Player' shield consumes energy and it reduces certain percentage of the damage player would take. Coming up next, we want to show the Combat finisher / Stun attack feature. We'll be updating the demo publish with all those features when we're ready. See you in a bit.

• Procedural Levels in Anord - 3 May 2021

  Hey ya! We've been working so hard for this feature. It is somehow big for us. Anord will have procedurally generated levels while keeping all of its current features. We can generate levels with locks and doors, can increase number of enemies as you progress in a level, can have main and alternate paths. All the previous features like ladders, elevators, random loot, changing Time of Day-Weather, Minimap...etc currently stays. We're still working on having Teleporters on levels. Also we've changed many things regarding weapons. No more ammo drops, weapons generate their own ammo. Weapons have durability. It effects weapons damage and can be fixed from a Weapon Station. • What's Next - 7 March 2021

  Hello Everyone, Thanks to the feedback we got during the Steam Game Festival we started working on a few things: -New UI. -Combat overhaul. -Better controls. We also added a hit reaction animation based on body parts. That also means after some testing we'll add headshot to Anord. We also did a big code refactoring which will help in the long run. Thanks for following!
