  Directive Nine will be removed from Steam in the near future. Unfortunately we have not been working on Directive Nine for some time, and it is now clear to us that we won't be doing any more updates. We want to thank all of you who supported us and played Directive Nine. Special shout out to those of you who gave us feedback and suggestions along the way. We are not completely sure of the date yet, but we are submitting the game to Steam for removal, and when they approve, it will be gone Thank you all for playing -The Directive Nine team

  Update 0.2.1 patch notes Switched entire lighting pipeline and light model to pre-baked GI for soft lighting. Major performance increase due to no real-time lighting cost incurred. More accurate colliders on several props like Triangle Table and Medical Scanner Bugfix : Fixed Drone death sequence not triggering Bugfix : Fixed Credit Boxes re-appearing when entering a previously cleared room.

  Item updates: You will now get many many more items. You can pick an item each time you clear a room, instead of at the end of each mission. As a consequence, several items have have their stats reduced, so their stacking % are lower.   Update 0.1.8 Patch Notes: Player Rating - When you die, theres now a player rating calculated for your run. The exact formula is still being worked on. Leaderboards : The Player Rating now uploads to Steam Leaderboards, and you can find the leaderboards in the menu on the Main Panel in the top. Item re-rolls : When visiting the ItemStation at the end of a run, you can now pay to re-roll the selection of items. Price increases every time NEW ITEM Gadget Reset : On kill - chance to reset gadget cooldown (stacking) NEW ITEM Bullet Well : On Kill - chance to refill the magazine of your active weapon. (stacking) NEW ITEM Dying Anger : Increase the damage you deal when YOU are below 30% HP by 2% (stacking) NEW WEAPON MOD : Bursty. After 3 consecutive critical hits, grants 3 burst fire attacks. These attacks cost 1 ammo each. This Weapon Mod is for the Pistol only.

  Update 0.1.5 New Room Weapon Mods : Mods are now tracked per weapon. Meaning Mods will no longer carry over to a newly purchased weapon. You can have 1 active mod per purchased weapon. Comfort : Added option for linear move speed. If locomotion makes you queasy, try this mode. UI : Added a new UI to show your currently equipped Weapon Mods during runs. Gadgets Plasma Charge : Aiming mechanics have been improved to be more along the lines of "point to where you want to go" Difficulty Enemy health now scales up as you progress through the game.   Weapons NEW WEAPON : The Quad-pipe. Shotgun style weapon, that really turns anything close into goo. You can no longer eject magazines that are full. This change is to help people who spam the reload button. You can no longer spend all your magazines while having a magazine in your hand by spamming reload.
