• Blackwoods launched! - 18 July 2024

My next game "Blackwoods" has just launched on Steam and will be released on the 7th of August. Feel free to add it to your wishlist and try it out when it releases- it will be completely free with no in-app purchases. Blackwoods is a cold-war FPS focusing on a resistance movement in the Baltic states so if alternate history, fun gun-play, a wide selection of guns or a cast of intriguing, fully voiced characters interest you, be sure to take a look!

• The Courier Standalone expansion - 6 March 2021

Hello! The courier standalone expansion has now been released. Originally it was to be an add-on for Chesnakisnak but I decided to try uploading to itch.io. I'm still learning so trying new things is always good. Anyway- if you would like to explore the world of Chesnakisnak a bit more with an entirely new gameplay loop- you can find the Courier here. Have fun and let me know what you think.

• 1.04 Update is live! - 28 October 2020

Hello! The 1.04 update has just been released and it features a new mini-game for Halowe'en as well as some holiday flair. There is also a new screen displayed upon starting a new game which gives some tips on how to get the most out of the game. Small QOL updates are also included. P.S. The mini-game is not to be taken as a serious attempt at a horror game- it's based on a recurring nightmare I had as a kid as well as an actual historical event. I thought it was quite a bit of fun to make, the solution is stupid but not knowing it fits the nightmare much better than solving it immediately.

• Chesnakisnak is released on the 20th of October - 7 October 2020

Hello all! Thank you for your interest in Chesnakisnak. This will be the first game I have developed and as such it is neither very long nor perfect by any standard. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me with the development of this game, including the musicians and artists who made this possible. But not Ben. Please be aware that I know of one issue that may affect your gameplay severely: Upon loading from the load screen, it is possible under specific conditions that the game will return you to the main menu OR crash completely. This seems to be an issue with how Unreal handles blueprints and levels (Or the placement of levels within the project- I don't understand it completely, to be honest.) - I have attempted to fix this in several ways but I may have coded myself into a corner. If this happens to you, please attempt to load the file again (perhaps even twice or three t…
