  • AI Use in Survival Machine: Setting the Record Straight - 19 June 2026

Hi Survivors! We've noticed a growing number of reviews and comments claiming that Survival Machine uses AI-generated content — art, dialogue, or voices. We've been answering this one by one, but since it keeps coming up, we wanted to address it properly, in one place. So let's say it plainly: we do not use AI-generated art, dialogue, or voices in the game itself. Every character, environment asset, weapon, UI element, and piece of concept art was created by our in-house 2D and 3D artists — real people sketching, modeling, texturing, and lighting everything you see on screen. Every line of dialogue was recorded by real voice actors, directed and produced for this game. And you, the community, helped us shape it!We also want to be honest rather than defensive about this: AI-generated content is everywhere now, and telling it apart from human work isn't always easy, even for trained eyes. T…

  • SURVIVAL MACHINE 1.0 — EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ON JUNE 12th! - 8 June 2026

🧟Hi Survivors!🧟 🚨Survival Machine 1.0 goes live on June 12th! If you're new — this post explains everything. If you've been here since the start — welcome back! There's a lot waiting for you.🚨 🗺️ EXPLORATION - The world changes with every pass. There's always more to find. 🚂 At the heart of Survival Machine is a world built around a single moving fortress — the Machine. It travels through the world in a continuous loop, but the pace is yours to control: slow down, stop to explore, push forward when you're ready. No area runs dry. The world reshapes itself with every pass — loot moves, Points of Interest reconfigure, and secrets you missed last time might be right where you least expect them. 🌄The Frontier Biome is where it all begins. Open terrain, abandoned civilization, forests full of resources. The further you stray from the road, the harder the zombies get — it's a simple ru…

  • #MachineLog #5 – Loot Rebuild, Zombieburg Updates & Multiplayer Fixes - 1 June 2026

Hey Survivors!Zombiestein started recalibrating the Zombieburg again — so the crew spent this week chasing loot that wasn't landing right, syncing up the boss exits, and giving the Machine's economy a proper tuning pass. Loot that drops where it shouldMechanical Parts — rare components like Carbon Fiber, Homing Sensors, and Nuclear Fuel — were coming from the wrong sources across several biomes. A substantial fix corrects the drop logic, and we rebuilt the loot reference system from scratch alongside it. The Loot V2 system — rarity tiers and signature drops per enemy type — now has a proper randomizer underneath it, so the spread of what you find in chests and from enemies is consistent rather than arbitrary.Zombieburg's exits, finally in syncZombiestein always has a lot to say when the Zombieburg retreats — and all three encounter sequences got their voice-over timing corrected this we…

  • #MachineLog #4 — Potions, Tesla Buffs, Slingshot Rebalance & Final Economy Pass - 25 May 2026

Hey Survivors! Zombiestein's been suspiciously quiet, which usually means the crew on the Machine is fixing things before the next attack. Health Potions join the Machine's medicine cabinetThree Health Potions are now craftable for the first time — Small (restores 20 HP), Standard (30 HP), and Large (40 HP). Each shares a 10-second cooldown, so you can't chug through a zombie wave. Hotbar slot 0 is now the dedicated potion slot. All 16 launch languages have potion descriptions ready. Tesla weapons: calibrated, then buffedThe Tesla electric weapons — the Chain Lightning line that arcs voltage between zombie groups — had a sphere cast radius locked at 1.0 when it should have been 0.3. Roughly an 11× volume difference. Shots were connecting with geometry they shouldn't, skipping enemies they should have tagged. With the radius fixed, base damage was recalibrated upward: Tesla Rifle went 7→…

  • Machine Log#3: Loot V2, crafting QoL overhaul & endgame fixes! - 18 May 2026

Hey Survivors! Pavel barely put his wrench down this week — the loot pipeline was having opinions, crafting stations needed labels, and Zombiestein apparently upgraded his missile guidance. Progress on all fronts. Loot V2 — every enemy class has its own tableThe Loot V2 system — rebuilt loot with rarity tiers and signature drops per enemy type — has its full cascade pipeline live. Day-run enemies, night-wave spawns, and each zombie class now each route through their own aggregate drop tables, with distinct quantities and rarity weights per trigger type. The importer is end-to-end verified: every zombie type in the game now has a distinct pool to draw from. Item tiers reshuffled, defenses tunedWeapons and tools got a tier redistribution pass this week — a batch of items that were gated a tier too high got moved earlier. Concrete changes: the Boomstick Bow (an explosive-tipped ranged vari…

  • Machine Log #2: Harder Nights and Faster Forges! - 11 May 2026

Hey Survivors! Pavel put down his wrench just long enough to send this — the Machine's been making noise in all the right ways. Big week. Zombiestein found his microphoneZombiestein's got a lot more to say. A round of fresh voice lines landed — Ice Missile taunts, Rocket Barrage barks, FloorIsLava callbacks, and several lines for when the Survivors finally knock the Zombieburg out of the sky. Pavel is reportedly unmoved. "He is my brother after all, for better or worse..." The kitchen got reorganizedConsumables took a hard design call this week. The rule change: Apples and Apple Shake now give stamina regen (Apple: 12s, 1 stamina per 2s; Apple Shake: 30s, 1 stamina per 2s). Berries and Berry Jam flipped to HP regen (Berries: 12s, 1 HP per 2s; Berry Jam: 30s, 1 HP per 2s). They were both competing for the same stat before — which made half the pantry feel pointless. Sprint-speed food als…

  • Machine Log #1: The Balance Sheet Strikes Back - 6 May 2026

Hey Survivors! Pavel finally found the balance sheet Zombiestein tried to steal — turns out it was buried under wrench grease the whole time. This week the crew on the Machine spent more time with numbers than night hordes: consumable timings, crafting costs, and the Zombieburg's spawn window all got passes until the friction stopped working against us. The countdown to launch is on! Here are a few more changes coming on June 12. Buffs that finally feel like buffsCarrot Juice, Mushroom Salad, and the Sprint Potion had their effect durations pulled wide open — Carrot Juice went from 2 minutes to 10, Sprint Potion from 3 minutes to 15, Mushroom Salad the same 2→10 treatment. The old windows evaporated mid-fight; the new ones are long enough to actually build around. Every consumable in the stack — Apple Shake, Berry Jam, Berries — also had its total stacking ceiling expanded, so effects a…

  • Content Sneak Peak - Automated Production! - 19 December 2025

Hi Survivors! We’re currently working on another major feature for our game — automation! Many of you have asked for this, especially as progression introduces more complex recipes and blueprints.
