Hello everyone!Wow, it's been a while! 💦There is a new minor update for Lunistice that's live right now! This brings Lunistice to version 1.06 and not only updates the engine version for the game to fix some outstanding engine issues, but it also adds a brand-new Brazilian Portuguese translation, courtesy of Discord user LonLon06 (https://lonlon06.carrd.co)!The big engine updateAs for the Unity update: since there was a security issue with pretty much all Unity versions (and since I had to update the engine anyway - I'll get to that), I decided to create a new build of the game using Unity version 2022. First and foremost: the game is functionally still the same, though a few shaders had to be updated and visual glitches be fixed in some roundabout ways, so very few elements might look a little bit different from before. Lunistice is a 3D platformer inspired by the PSX/Sega Saturn era, but its high-speed movement reminds me of Sonic’s 3D adventures, in a good way. Out today on PC and Switch, it was originally developed by solo dev A Grumpy Fox as a small 30-day project, but it quickly ballooned into something larger. - New Demo + Release Date Shift - 2 September 2022
Hello! As you might've seen already on my Social Media/Discord/Whatever, we had to move the release date for Lunistice a little bit, due to... unforeseen circumstances! As it turns out, beginning of September suddenly got really REALLY packed with other releases and I wasn't 100% happy with the quality the full game was at! So, to hopefully find a better day to release the game on and to give me a bit more time to polish, we're moving the release date just a little bit! I'll announce the final release date only when the game is 100% ready to go! To make up for the delay, I decided to prepare a completely new demo version for all of you! - Ginormous Demo Update! - 8 November 2021
Hello! It's time for Update Time! Today the demo got a (comparatively) massive update! Before I go over the features though, some words about the development of the game! "What's up with the jumpy game, fox man?" It takes a little bit longer! As you might know, Eversleep was meant as a challenge to myself to create a commercially viable game in 30 days! And while I kinda-sorta made that goal (plus around 14 days, oh well) I kinda grew attached to the darn thing and wanted it to be really cool! As such, I'll be taking some additional time (mostly to avoid holiday season as well tbh) to not only boost the content a little bit, but also to give the game the treatment it deserves (like a full-on custom soundtrack by the amazing Knasibas!)
