Demise Sanctuary is a fast-paced twin-stick action roguelike game set in a dark Sci-Fi universe , with a gameplay inspired by Risk of Rain, Hyper Light Drifter and The Binding of Isaac. ESCAPE THE SANCTUARY You play as a Mage-Warrior with psychic abilities. You wake up in a grim place without windows. Your last clear memory is the capture of your ship by what you identified as the fleet of The Collector . This mad and powerful being now detains you in his Sanctuary , a mythical megastructure with ever changing room layouts where he keeps his impressive collections of other-worldly creatures and Artefacts. The Collector will now enjoy watching you explore , fight , harness the powers of Artefacts and eventually die in your attempt to escape the Sanctuary . But in this cursed place, death is only temporary, as The Collector will endlessly bring you to life, stripping you of all your Artefacts in the process.
