  • Standable v3.0.3 Patch Notes - 14 March 2026

A mini-patch to fix some important developer-side issues. Minor Laying Estimation change - Torso laying rotation now prioritizes head rotation over hand rotation in specific cases (helps torso not get stuck laying on side when hands are to one side) Bug Fixes - Fixed issue where Mixed Tracking offset calibration wouldn't properly ignore calibrating offsets for lost tracking or disabled devices. - Fixed Auto Calibration still triggering when Standable was disabled through the UI. Developer & Debugging changes - Added proper driver build versioning. - Added proper exe build versioning. - Build changes for much more advanced crash debugging. These may seem simple on the surface, but will allow me to debug crashes much much easier with MUCH less guess work.

  • Standable v3.0.2 Patch Notes - 20 December 2025

Standable v3.0.2 Bug Fix Patch is now live! Hopefully to help the issues that arose from v3.0.1. v3.0.2 Patch NotesAdded "Sync Standable Floor to SteamVR"SteamVR floor now updates to match Standable's floor, ensuring the floors are always aligned. For now it requires the StandableUI to be open, but this won't be a requirement in the future. This feature can be disabled in the "Calibration" section. Fixed Bed Mode "Set Bed at Controller" not working as intended.Fixed issue where randomly all Standable trackers would get stuck in a ball in the corner of your playspace. This bug is not 100% exterminated, but no where near as common now. Reverted many UI framework changes that caused constant UI crashes. Will be revisiting framework changes in the future.

  • v3.0.1 Patch Notes - 19 December 2025

The Standable v3.0.1 Patch is now available! There are some big changes on how floor and height works in this patch. While it may be a little confusing if you're familiar with the old Floor Offset system, it is much simpler for new users and requires less manual calibration on the user's end. (Please read through the new changes (especially the new height/floor system) before asking for help in the discord.) With the holidays around the corner I'll be taking a breather from development, but once I am back I'll be swing'n, ready to make v3.1 the best I can! Wish you all the best during the holidays

  • Actively working on fixes! Hang tight! - 15 December 2025

Hey everyone! We are very aware of the many issues with the new update. While a good chunk of the issues are just due to unfamiliarity with the new systems (we could have communicated better for a smoother transition) there are some many core issues that are being addressed. If we can't help you in the support channels right now, please know we are not ignoring you! We have dozens of tickets open and can only help so many. I am prioritizing getting a patch released to fix the core issues rather than trying to help individual issues one by one. So if you have an issue, I ask you wait for the v3.0.1 patch to see if it resolves your issue. I am working fast to try to get as many of these issues resolved, but I can only do so much as a solo developer. Thank you all for your patience while we get things ironed out. I am excited to see where Standable as a software goes, even if the road there…

  • We're Back! - 22 January 2025

There were some complications with Steam that meant Standable was not purchasable for almost a full week. I've worked diligently with Steam to get this resolved, and I can now officially say Standable is back up for Sale! For everyone wanted to get Standable but couldn't, now's your chance! Thank you all for the patience while I got things resolved

  • Standable v2.1.1 PATCH NOTES - 17 January 2025

Mini Patch Notes for Standable v2.1.1! v2.1.1 has only a few bug fixes and updates, but very important nonetheless! Patch Notes below: One Handed/Controller Calibration If a controller dies or you are unable to use two controllers for whatever reasons Standable calibration will still work as intended with only one controller connected (t-pose, alignment options, etc). Note: Two controllers must be connected at the beginning of each session, but after initial connection you are free to turn one of the controllers off. Anti Virus Fixes There have been multiple reports of Standable triggering Anti-Virus programs (specifically McAfee). These triggers have been mitigated and Standable now no longer falsely triggers Anti-Virus Programs (or at least not the most popular ones. There will be edge cases where it still could). Other - Fixed: Standable no longer spams the Steam Console when an HMD…

  • Need Help with Standable? - 28 December 2024

We've noticed there's a lot of people who could use some help getting Standable working, or have questions about the program! As a solo developer I am unable to help every single person individually, so if we aren't able to get you help directly, it's not personal. Despite this, I have a few ways you can get the help you need! Standable Docs (Recommended) Standable Docs (standablevr.com) is the new hub for all things Standable. Almost any question about Standable can be answered here, and we did our best to make it as user friendly as possible (let us know how we can improve it!) The Manual/Docs are divided into 5 main sections: Quick Start: Installation, Calibration, and General Use. Mixed Tracking: Learn how to setup Mixed Tracking w/ Standable. Settings Overview: Don't know what that setting does? Let us explain. FAQ: Answers to frequently asked questions. Common Issues: Fixes for co…

  • Standable v2.0.1 Patch Notes - 24 May 2024

Patch v2.0.1 is now live! UI: QuickStart Guide link in UI now flashes yellow for first time users. Calibrate Floor Button: New Button in advanced settings for quick floor setting without need to stand up. Virtual Desktop Jitter (temporary) Workaround: There is an issue that arises sometimes when using Virtual Desktop where Standable's DeltaTime is somehow messed up. This can slightly or severely affect Standable's tracker velocity math (depending on unknown variables). To temporarily mitigate the issues while I search for the root cause, I've added a new section `Virtual Desktop` in advanced settings with two new settings: Auto Detect VD Issues: This attempts to detect the incorrect deltatimes and auto disables the tracker velocity math. Disable Velocity Math: This will manually disable the velocity math (use if auto detect doesn't help). "Auto Detect VD Issues" must be disabled for thi…

  • v2.0 Release: please be patient as things get ironed out. - 22 May 2024

There are a LOT of questions and getting used to the new systems. Remember to watch the (not so quick) QuickStart Guide before creating a support ticket to make it easier on our volunteer support. I plan on releasing a v2.0.1 (or v2.1) patch in the new few days to help solve some issues. As well as multiple patches over the next few weeks to iron even more out. One of the biggest issues is a bunch of jittery movement and lag when using Virtual Desktop. This is being actively looked into and I hope to get a workaround out in v2.0.1 in the meantime while I look into the root cause. v2.0 is quite a bit more complex to use than v1.1, so please be patient with us and be patient with the software as you learn all the quirks it has and how it differs from v2.0. That's all for now.

  • Standable Full Body Estimation v2.0 Patch Notes - 22 May 2024

Standable v2.0 is a full rewrite of Standable: Full Body Estimation. This gave the opportunity to add new systems like Seat Estimation and Mixed Tracking, but it also gave the opportunity to vastly improve what was already there, adding that bit much more polish. Hope you enjoy! Make sure to watch through the (not so quick) QuickStart Guide video to get a grasp of how to use v2.0! All New User Interface Fresh new UI to personalize your Standable experience to your liking. Sit/Lay Pose Adjustment sliders for more control over your pose. Adjustable hip sway and hip counterbalance movement. Enable/Disable Trackers on the fly without restarting. New tracker models that dynamically change color based on tracking status. Over 30 new tracker icons to represent the Standable virtual trackers. We like to call them "Standabuddies". IK/Estimation Improvements Rewritten from the ground up for a bet…

Standable v2.0 is releasing on MAY 22 as a FREE update! Watch the reveal video to see what v2.0 has in store:

  • Standable: 1 Year Anniversary Meetup! - 4 May 2024

Some of you will know that May 8th is a special day for Standable. May 8th will mark the 1 year anniversary for Standable v1.0 on Steam! Due to this milestone, I am holding a large Standable meetup in VRChat on Standable's Anniversary. This won't be limited to just Patreon users, it will be available to EVERYONE. During the meetup I will be providing a first look at the upcoming v2.0 update followed by a Q&A session. A few of the v2.0 beta testers will also be attending to give their thoughts on v2.0. I expect we may have multiple full VRC instances, so be prepared to fight for a spot in the instances. I will provide more detailed info on what exactly will go down during the meetup in the next few days on the official discord as we gauge interest (make sure to rsvp for our headcount in the discord: HERE) The fact that there are over 25,000+ Standable users out there still blows my mind.…

  • Patch Notes for May 14 (v1.1) - 15 May 2023

Additions • Rotating logic breakthrough! - While working on the small bugs I accidentally came across a huge issue with my code. After a simple variable change, now turning around is much more natural! This also fixes most cases of the legs randomly crossing. v1.1 feels so much more natural to "puppet"! • Calibration message - Calibration notification when in calibration mode (For VRChat make sure to set tracker visualization to "system" in to see it in-game) • Improved laying pose - Much more natural laying/prone look (requires to set "lock all" in VRChat settings) • Slightly improved sitting pose - Not as scrunched as before 🤷‍♂️ • Selectively disable trackers - while you wait for a proper UI in v2.0 you can disable specific tracker points by changing the sfbe_settings.txt located in the sfbe plugin's folder* ———————————————————— Changes • Set floor level change - To set the floor le…
