This is a huge moment for the project, and we wanted players to be able to experience the game before deciding whether to support it. - Combat Update & Performance Improvements - 31 March 2026
This update focuses on expanding our combat system, while also bringing meaningful upgrades to performance and overall stability.A big part of this patch was reworking how damage is handled with the addition of damage range and critical strike.⚔️ Combat ChangesWe introduced a few systems that significantly change how fights play out:Added Critical StrikesAdded Melee Base Damage RangeAdded a Camera Dead Zone to smooth movement and improve overall responsivenessThe goal here was to make combat less predictable and more impactful. Healing Effects As a Paladin, healing is part of the job, but until now there was no visual feedback for it. With more units gaining healing abilities (see below), it became important to clearly show when a unit is being healed. This will also be especially useful in multiplayer, where readability is key.
