Hey Spellhackers!! We're just ONE WEEK away from release! Just wanted to make a quick post that SPELLHACK!! works great on Steam Deck, no Proton fiddling or workarounds needed! SPELLHACK!! was designed with controller play in mind, so it's all seamless. One suggestion: In the settings menu, turn on "Zoom Camera". This is an option for playing on smaller screens that gives the in-game CRT more screen real estate. Then you're good to go! That's all for now. Super exciting that we're nearly at release! - DEMO UPDATE!! - 28 August 2024
Hey Spellhackers!! Over the past couple months, there's been a few small updates to the demo, but this is a big one! There's been a full redesign of the damage mod system. Instead of +1 Mods and Lethal Mods, you can now gain Stable Mods and Quick Mods. In the new system, the damage added is the total of your Stable and Quick mods combined, so you can expect to pull off some crazy combos! But, there's a catch, only Stable Mods will stick around if you don't use them. You'll lose any Quick Mods you didn't use at the end of each turn. So plan carefully! - SPELLHACK!! has a demo!! - 11 May 2024
Yo Spellhackers!! SPELLHACK!! Now has a free demo for you test your skills! It's been a long time coming, and I'm happy to finally share it with the world! A run in the demo is about half the length as in the final game, and the events available during the daytime are limited. However, a large number of Technospells and enemy Beasts are available to play with! Please consider wishlisting the game if you enjoyed the demo!
