Chen will also go over some recent balance adjustments to the Blood Bank and Challenge Room. Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, with a short introduction on each platform. Hello! In this weekly report, we will continue covering some recent changes to magic book and pages. Chen will talk about skill cooldowns, using pages directly, the Unbinder (magic book Cutter), and page levels. We will also show a few recent updates to enemy movement, including more flexible retreat behavior and Slugon crawling across different surfaces.Due to formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
- Library Weekly 11 - 13 September 2026
Hello! In this weekly report, we will introduce some of the rules used in equipment and skill descriptions in Library of Meialia. As the number of equipment pieces, skills, and numerical effects continues to grow, descriptions that look similar but calculate differently also need to remain clear and consistent.Due to formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly

- Library Weekly 9 - 30 August 2026
Hello everyone! In this weekly report, we will answer a question that has come up frequently: why do Wind Towers (Anemos) appear several times in the tutorial, yet remain rare in regular combat maps? We will explain the design concerns behind their limited use so far and preview a set of new combat rooms planned for the second floor and above. Chen has also completed the Library's second elite enemy. It will appear on higher floors at higher difficulties and use a variety of elemental spells to attack from range.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
- Library Weekly 8 - 23 August 2026
Hello! In this weekly report, we will introduce another item related to Magic Books: Scrolls. Although a Scroll has only one spell slot, it can be upgraded, receive Annotations, and develop its own playstyle through stronger, more focused Prefixes. We have also updated the icons for Blizzard, Crack, Weakness, Power, and Poison.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
- Library Weekly 7 - 16 August 2026
Hello! In this weekly report, we will briefly outline our plans for adjusting the early-game progression curve.Players currently begin with only one active spell, but the first floor effectively expects them to acquire several spells quickly. Otherwise, combat develops noticeable downtime. We want to reduce the pressure to become viable immediately, allowing players to fight reliably with only one or two spells. Spells acquired later should primarily expand a build rather than provide its basic combat functionality.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
- Library Weekly 6 - 9 August 2026
Hello! In this weekly report, we will continue introducing recent changes to the Magic Book system. The first stage of the new Magic Book combat UI is now complete: standard Magic Books, Page Binders, and Book Pages used on their own now each have a display that reflects their structure. As the number of build options grows, we have also clarified the roles of passives and equipment: which effects should form builds around Magic Book mechanics, and which may exist independently or directly change the game's underlying rules. Finally, we will introduce recent work to unify enemy targeting and attack decisions.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
- Library Weekly 5 - 2 August 2026
Hello everyone! In this week's update, we will introduce a new boss currently in development, Dustevil Storm, along with a new direction for the Magic Book system. Our combat designer will discuss how Dustevil Storm uses dust storms to obscure the player's vision and pressure them to approach and pursue the boss more actively. We will then introduce the Page Binder and the ability to use Book Pages directly, allowing players to start using spells earlier in each run and organize the pages they find with greater freedom. In addition, Chen will introduce the rework of the active spell Holy Light and share some of our latest thoughts on designing spells with extremely large areas of effect.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each pla…

Hello, everyone! In this weekly, we will introduce Tickets, a persistent exploration resource planned for a future update. Tickets record how thoroughly players explore each floor and can later be spent at shops in the Library lobby or used to unlock content. This week, we will focus on how Tickets are earned, exchanged, and stamped, as well as how the system encourages players to explore each floor more thoroughly. In addition, Chen will introduce the rework of the active spell Holy Light and share some of our latest thoughts on designing spells with extremely large areas of effect.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly

Hello everyone! In this issue of the weekly report, our balance designer will introduce the new relationship between calibre and loot rarity, along with adjustments to the pricing of complex magic books. Our programmer will also discuss the game’s Causation system, explaining how the game records the direct cause, responsible party, and prior reasons behind an event, as well as how this information is used for death messages.Because formatting differs significantly across platforms, we have decided to publish the full weekly report on the official Library of Meialia website, while posting a short text introduction on each platform.Read it here: Library Weekly
