Echoes of Agony is a dark turn-based roguelite where you are hunted by manifestations of your inner demons. Master the dynamic turn economy, collect loot and push your limits. The more you suffer, the greater the rewards. How much are you willing to endure in the pursuit of power? Inspired by "Path of Exile : Delirium", "Quasimorph" and "Darkest Dungeon", Echoes of Agony is a challenging experience where you have to live with the consequences of your own greed or cowardice . Push too hard, and you risk failing, losing progress. Don't push hard enough, and you risk being too weak to face the challenges ahead. DYNAMIC TURN ORDER / ACTION ECONOMY Forget "One action per turn". Turn Order and Action Economy are dynamic and intertwined, based on Stamina usage. Stamina regenerates outside of turns. When your Stamina is full, it’s your turn -> This pauses all Stamina regeneration. Perform actions as long as you have Stamina. End your turn at any point -> This resumes all Stamina regeneration If you spend less Stamina, your next turn comes sooner If you spend more Stamina, your next turn comes later GREED IS THE DIFFICULTY SLIDER Accumulate Echoes: As you accumulate Echoes, stronger enemies spawn, culminating in a boss encounter. Adjust Agony Tier: Set Agony Tier between combat that reduces your damage and increases enemy damage but also increases rewards. Build Your Team: Buy powerful Mythic items, upgrade them with crafting materials, and create the ultimate party. CHOOSE YOUR RISK, REAP THE REWARDS Tactical Level Choice: Choose from a list of premade Levels when progressing. Do you want easy layouts, or easy modifiers? Secure Your Loot: Extract powerful item drops for the next run for a cost, or complete the run and save all inventory. Risk vs. Reward: Clear the Level to keep all of your hard-earned Echoes, but the more you hold, the heavier the burden. CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER, GAIN ENDLESS POWER Trade Between Fights: Trade between fights, selling what you don't need and buying what you do.
