  • Update 6.0 - [Early Access] - 23/10/15 - 23 October 2015

Greetings Dungeon Runners! In this update we focused mainly on adding more variety to the dungeon layouts. We did this by adding 108 more sections which make the dungeon 'turn' 90 degrees left or right. There can be multiple turning sections per floor so you should see a huge variety in the shapes you encounter! In addition to this we added more variety to the start and end rooms, so you'll get one of several possibilities. We have more languages for you too! Massive thanks to Alberto Taiuti (Italian) and Kamil Tajs (Polish). All the translations we have would have been impossible without our awesome community! There are more tweaks and changes included, so be sure to check out the full list below! Changelog Added a quit to desktop button in the village The game language can now be set to Polish The game language can now be set to Italian Starting room variety has been added Exit room v…

  • Update 5.0 - [Early Access] - 18/09/15 - 18 September 2015

Greetings Dungeon Runners! We've got a big update for you this time! The biggest change you will see will be real time lighting and shadows. You can adjust the graphical quality options in the launcher, and this will have a definite effect on the performance. Let us know how it runs on your system as we want to be sure we're running well even on low spec machines! We've added physics to certain props in the game! You'll be able to kick about braziers and candelabras, but more importantly, no more getting stuck on chairs! Just knock them flying! We've added the ability to zoom the camera in and out using the mouse-wheel! If you want to get back to the default zoom, press the 'z' key, or you can rebind it in the launcher. Last but not least, we've added a new way for characters to die; if they take a lot of damage in one hit and are killed, they will explode! We know you'll have great fun…

  • Update 4.0 - [Early Access] - 28/08/15 - 28 August 2015

Greetings Dungeon Runners! We're back with another update! The biggest change this time is to character movement. The different classes now have individualized acceleration and deceleration, and this has improved the speed and responsiveness of the game overall. When you play it, it just feels tighter and more satisfying. The melee classes generally have better acceleration than the ranged ones, so as a result you will also see a very slight natural changing of the formation of the party as it moves. As melee heroes pull away quicker, they naturally move to the front of the group. Try holding the mouse button in short bursts to really separate them out. We've also changed the way traps deal damage and how they scale that damage as you get deeper into the dungeon. This will be particularly noticeable with fire-pits and flamethrowers. This is tied into a feature for a further update comin…

  • French translations in the next update! - 7 August 2015

Greetings Dungeon Runners new and old! Just a quick announcement to say that we'll be releasing another update within the next few days! The biggest feature in it will be French translations, provided by MuiWui, one of our awesome forum members and players! Massive thanks to him! The game should auto detect your system language, but we'll include options in the menus so you can manually set it. If anyone else would be interested in translating the game into a particular language, we'd love to hear from you! We'll also have audio sliders! You'll be able to set the volume levels of the sound effects and music individually. As I say, keep an eye out for the update within the next few days! Thanks!

  • Update 2.0 - [Early Access] - 31/07/15 - 31 July 2015

We're back with our second update! We focused on some of the bugs you guys brought to our attention, as well as some improvements to the menus. Hope you enjoy! Changelog Fixed a text formatting error on village help page 7/7 Fixed a bug where enemies would attack explosives like grenades Added many more supported resolutions Split Steam dev build depots Made how to play buttons smaller Changed the visual style of shop items yet to be unlocked Moved in-game notifications slightly higher up Fixed audio issues when too many SFX play at once Clicking the arrows in the menus now scrolls the window contents It's great to see more videos and coverage happening for SDR, this is what will make the game a success and will allow us to continue updating. If you want to help in that regard, contact your favourite YouTubers, Twitchers and websites and get them to cover the game! It genuinely makes a…
