• Hoosegow: Prison Survival Demo Is Out on Parole! - 4 September 2026

  Hey folks! The Hoosegow: Prison Survival demo just broke out.Thanks to everyone who took part in the playtests — based on your feedback we tuned the balance, added new event types, and even threw in a couple of features we hadn't originally planned.The demo includes the Classic mode and roughly 15% of the game's content. All the progress you earn in the demo carries over to the full version and will help unlock skills and character cards.Got feedback or suggestions? Come find us in our communities. Wishlist the game — full release drops October 28.

• Dressed for the Sentence - 15 June 2026

  We spent a long time thinking about how to dress our inmates. We considered options: business formal, casual, maybe something from Gucci. In the end, we arrived at the one true answer — stripes.Yes, that timeless classic. Black and white, horizontal, for people who now have plenty of time on their hands.We developed a full lineup: a tank top for those who work out in the yard; a polo for the white-collar guys who embezzled their way in; a button-up shirt — strictly for those who still consider themselves innocent; and a plain t-shirt for everyone else.The collection is called "Striped Season." Worn year-round.

• We've finished work on the PC UI - 11 March 2026

  If you played the mobile version of Hoosegow — you won't recognize the game. This is not a port and not a visual refresh. We rethought every screen for monitors and gamepad, and the result is a completely different experience. The game is deeper, more informative, and more intuitive — you now have everything you need to make informed decisions instead of acting on blind luck.The mobile version was built for quick sessions and a small screen. The PC version is a different pace and a different level of immersion. There's room to think between events. Mechanics that used to sit in the background now work at full strength.We'll show the details in upcoming logs. For today we just wanted to say — the interface is done, and we're happy with it.
