  • Alastrius Title Refinement - 17 August 2026

Since the games launch in March 2026 this sci-fi rail shooter has been titled 'Alastrius' after the large space battleship that escorts the player throughout the game. The game name has now been extended to Alastrius: Star-Fighter The main reason for this is Alastrius is planned as a franchise with additional games set in the same universe but expanding into other genres of gameplay. A second game is planned for a 2027 release and by giving both games a unique subtitle it will easier to manage both projects going forward. Another reason for the addition of the subtitle has simply been to improve the games discoverability on Steam and to give more detail to anyone seeing the games name without further context. This 1.1.6 update has added the Star-Fighter subtitle to the games main menu and has also integrated the Demo label for the demo version of the game.

Visual laser fire sped up by 66% to better align the visual element of laser shots. Background Systems Changes Laser fire now functions on a 6 metre diameter sphere trace rather than a line trace, this makes it far easier to hit targets at a distance and overall has led to a considerable change in the overall feel of the game. About this game

Launch your heavily armed Star-Fighter into devastating battles across the galaxy in an intense on-the-rails space shooter. Take the role of a skilled fighter pilot assigned to the Interstellar Battleship Alastrius , the only capital ship still fighting for the Republic following a sudden coup d'état. Your mission is simple; blast a path through numerous enemy strongholds, liberate the capital world Velora and restore the Republic. However the enemy forces are vast and they will throw every weapon they have in your path. From lush green forests to vast deserts, explore bottomless icy glaciers and broken volcanic mining worlds. Plot a course through 16 different planets, space stations, nebulae and other hazardous locations as you guide the Battleship Alastrius back to its home world. With numerous different missions and storyline developments it will take many playthroughs to discover everything. The Battleship Alastrius carries a diverse range of playable Star-Fighters from nimble, lightly armed ships to hulking goliaths. When a Star-Fighter is lost in combat its gone for the rest of the campaign so choose your fighters for each mission wisely. The game begins with three different Star-Fighters with a further seven that can be unlocked. Each Star-Fighter is equipped with multiple Laser Cannons able to shred through enemies, even at long range. If more firepower is needed powerful homing Missiles can make short work of even the toughest targets and if that's not enough the Star-Fighters arsenal of Bombs can devastate everything in a vast area. The devious Imperium have usurped almost the entire Republic military and will throw hordes of forces at you including drones, fighters, tanks, boats, turrets, mines and traps. Find your enemies weakpoints to destroy them efficiently and rack up impression mission high scores. Can you earn a Gold Medal in every Mission? Saving the most insane superweapons to the end of every mission these hulking war machines will test your skills. Depending on your path a different boss may be poised to strike. Familiarise yourself with the Star-Fighters controls and weapons systems by taking on the Training Simulator. You have bee…

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Oct 4, 2026 to Oct 4, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $7.79
  • Highest observed: $7.79

Alastrius: Star-Fighter's USD price history spans from Oct 4, 2026 to Oct 4, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $7.79, the highest is $7.79, and the first visible tracked price is $7.79. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 1
  • Discounted days: 1 day
  • Deepest markdown: -35%
  • Latest sale window: Oct 4, 2026 to Oct 4, 2026

SteamPulse has grouped rows carrying discount metadata into 1 recorded discount window, covering 1 calendar day and 1 discounted snapshot. The deepest recorded markdown is -35%, with a lowest recorded final price of $7.79 during rows named Steam sale. The latest recorded window starts Oct 4, 2026 and ends Oct 4, 2026, spanning 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking. Window boundaries follow the available snapshots, so gaps in coverage can make an actual sale shorter or longer than the recorded span.

Recorded sale names include Steam sale. The table reports the observed markdown, final price, snapshot dates, and any sale name supplied with the row. It can show whether similar discounts recur in the retained record, but it does not infer publisher intent, demand, or the reason a price changed.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $7.79, from Oct 4, 2026 through Oct 4, 2026. The latest run records $7.79 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking with a listed discount from $11.99. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $7.79
  • Current list price: $11.99
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Alastrius: Star-Fighter at $7.79 in USD, with a listed base price of $11.99 and a -35% markdown. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
