• Bountiful Bait and Boons (Version 0.6) - 19 September 2026

  Hello sailors of the sea! Welcome to the Bountiful Bait and Boons update. This is our first update that focuses more on changes to the game rather than fixing bugs, and this is because of two aspects of our game that we felt didn't affect the game as much as we wanted them to. THE BAIT For the first part of the update, we have the bait. Our original idea for the bait was for it to be a craftable item you would use in tandem with the Bestiary to curate the specific types of fish you wanted to catch. However, even after buffing the amount bait affected the pool several times, bait still appeared to be underperforming, both in personal testing and from feedback. Due to this, we decided to scrap the original idea for bait and instead rework it into an item that saves time during fishing.   HAVE YOU EVER WANTED YOUR DESIGN IN AN INDIE GAME?From now until October 2nd, we'll be hosting a challenge to add 3 new community-designed fish to Moorage! The rules are as follows:Design a fish! Anything goes, and you do not have to be a "good" artist to participate.   It's only been a week and we're already at 150! This is a really big number for us and we're grateful for everyone who has tried Moorage! AN UPDATE ON THE NEXT UPDATE A new update is coming VERY soon! This will make cookies easier to obtain and fix many of the issues that players have been encountering. Thank you to everyone who has been logging their bugs in our Steam discussions! We read every single one and have been hammering away at them. Some of them make us laugh, too. We're planning on updating the demo, as there's a LOT of bugs in the demo.
