Based on the “Ylinthian Chronicles” novel series by M.J. Macourek, this easy to play PVE combination of Real Time Strategy and tabletop games allows for infinite replayability.
About this game
World of Ylinthia The world of Ylinthia is a fantasy world, where heroes and armies led by their Christian faith wage war against the forces of evil. War for Ylinthia takes place in the latter half of the 1700s. Due to magic and inventive races such as Dwarves and Zhon-Maru, some elements of technology are more advanced than in the same time period on Earth. Armor is still used to protect during combat. Firearms have been invented, but later than on Earth, so are less prevalent than on Earth during this time period. The most powerful country in the world is the country of Riddocia. Riddocia is made up of autonomous states that form the Riddocian Alliance when their land is troubled. Ylinthia is protected by the Lightwardens, a global organization of heroes with chapter houses in each country. Lore Our website contains official canon lore and basic gameplay information about the factions, heroes, and enemies. Upon release, our website will be updated to provide full game information as well as expanded world lore. Game Features Classic Real Time Strategy Gameplay : Gather resources, build a base, and train an army. Tabletop Theme : Your units resemble miniature models. Watch them glide across the map and then come to life when performing actions like attacking or gathering resources. Five Faction s : Command one of five factions: the pious knights of Griffony, the magical might of the Lilzerian Elves, the hardy Dwarves of Zandrazthuun, the ingenious Zhon-Maru of Deepplace, or the Orcs and Goblins of the Thunderflame Tribe. Thirteen Heroes : Play as one of thirteen iconic heroes from the novel series, each with a powerful unique general ability that enhances your army. Heroes are playable with any faction. Variety of Opponents and Locales : Fight against eight enemy factions: Crimson Blades, Deepplace Defectors, Undead, Summer Court Vampires, Shadows, Savage Greenskins, Zarhul Raiders, Clan of Venom Arachnidar, and an assortment of factionless enemies.
