- Rally the Parties — v0.5.1 Update - 20 September 2026
v0.5.1 is an update that makes the game easier to understand, based on the feedback we have received from players. A tutorial has been added, where you learn the controls and mechanics by actually playing. Characters on the field now have an outline in a different color for each faction, so you can tell friend from foe at a glance. A number of smaller improvements have also been made, focusing on the points you raised.New TutorialA "Tutorial" has been added to the main menu. From the basics of attacking to coordinating a party with recruited allies, it covers everything you need to know to play the game. Rooms are divided by theme, and rather than just reading explanations, you work through small tasks one at a time, deepening your understanding of the game as you go. Rooms covering things you already know can simply be walked through, so you can also pick just the parts that interest y…
- Rally the Parties — v0.5.0 Update - 14 September 2026
v0.5.0 is a major update that rebuilds the game's visuals from the ground up. Character motion, the fields you explore, and the title screen and key art have each been made anew. The rules and controls are unchanged, but every field now has a rich character of its own, and the characters move as if they were alive.Natural Character AnimationEvery character, ally and enemy alike, now moves with smooth animation. Each action — walking, readying, attacking, and blocking — has become far more expressive, elevating the overall game experience. The character portrait shown beside the message window now moves in step with the current action as well. Attack effects have also been renewed.Complete Field Graphics OverhaulField graphics are now built room by room rather than tile by tile. Treating each room and corridor as a single image greatly widens the range of visual expression, resulting in…
- Rally the Parties — v0.4.0 Update - 2 August 2026
It's been a while since the last update — v0.4.0 is a major update that reworks the game's foundations. We've overhauled the party order system and unified the behavior logic of allies, NPCs, and enemies, raising the game's tactical depth. We've also designed an advance-and-retreat game cycle, making the dungeon one you can settle into and explore at your own pace.Order System OverhaulParty-wide orders and individual orders, which used to be set separately, now work as one system: issuing a party-wide order automatically unfolds into individual orders for each member.Along with this, you can now choose more tactical party maneuvers, such as encircling formations and divided targeting.Orders can also be issued from the always-visible control panel, letting you decide when to push and when to pull back without breaking the flow of battle.Unified Behavior Across All FactionsAll factions no…
- Rally the Parties — v0.3.2 Update - 9 July 2026
v0.3.2 is an update that makes the game even easier and more comfortable to play. Based on the feedback and information we've received from players, we've focused on readability and smoother performance, revisiting many parts of the game so it's more enjoyable to play.Larger TextWe've reviewed text sizes across the whole game, so that players who find small text hard to read can play comfortably, and so that text stays legible even on stream or in thumbnails. You can now choose the message window's text size from four levels, and we've also raised the default size. UI text throughout the game has been enlarged as well.Clearer Battle VisualsWe've added a number of touches that make the battle situation easier to grasp at a glance. The right panel now shows the traits an enemy has (such as Flying or Death Immune). The icons in the side panels and the character portrait at the bottom of th…
- Rally the Parties — v0.3.1 Update - 3 July 2026
v0.3.1 is an update focused on raising the game's overall quality toward full release. We've added visual effects that make it easier to follow what's happening in battle, and reworked the processing in situations where the game tended to slow down. Centered on improvements to clarity and smoothness — areas that had been on our mind — the game is now more comfortable to play.Combat Visual Effects AddedTo make it easier to tell whether an attack was blocked or damage was taken, we've added visual effects during battle. An attacking character steps toward its target, a character that blocks an attack is pushed back for a moment by the impact, and a character that takes damage shakes in proportion to the damage received.Reduced Processing LoadIn battles where many enemies and allies move at once, we've distributed the processing load to reduce frame rate drops. In particular situations whe…
- Rally the Parties — v0.3.0 Update - 27 June 2026
v0.3.0 is a major update that introduces a map selection system — the foundation for the updates to come. Through dungeons of different flavors, we'll gradually broaden the variety of play. As the first step, we've added two maps featuring missions with distinct objectives. We've also given enemies their own behaviors and traits to make each one stand out. Map Selection System AddedYou can now choose which map (dungeon) to take on at the start. Going forward, we'll use this system to gradually add maps with different flavors and broaden the variety of play. Random selection is supported as well. Rescue & Seal Missions"Rescue the Captives" is a dungeon where you rescue captives and have them join your party. It introduces sealed rooms that trap all who enter until every enemy inside is defeated. A captive held in a sealed room can be freed and made a companion."Break the Seals" is a dung…
- Rally the Parties — v0.2.1 Update - 7 June 2026
It's only been a short while since our last major update, but v0.2.1 is already here. The main changes this time are the new real-time modes, expanded language support, and smoother controls for special attacks.New Real-Time ModesYou can now choose how time flows from three settings: Semi-Real-Time, Real-Time, and Full Real-Time. The default, Semi-Real-Time, works just as before — time stops while your character is standing still. In Real-Time, time keeps advancing whenever your character is free to act, and in Full Real-Time, the world keeps moving even while windows such as the order window are open. We suggest starting with Semi-Real-Time to get comfortable, then switching over if you'd like a more tense, real-time pace.Expanded Language SupportSpanish (β) has been added to the languages you can select in the options, so even more players around the world can enjoy the game. Because…
- Rally the Parties — v0.2.0 Update - 3 June 2026
Just one week after launch, here's our first major update. To make the game more enjoyable to play, we've made significant improvements in three areas: movement, potions, and special attacks.Pixel-Based MovementWe've rebuilt how movement works from the ground up. In place of the old four-direction, tile-by-tile movement, characters now move freely and smoothly, no longer bound to a grid. Diagonal movement feels natural and fluid, and surrounding enemies is far more intuitive. You can also move and turn while taking aim, which makes the controls feel much smoother.Automatic Potion UseWe've consolidated the automatic potion-use setting into the Options screen, and it's now on by default. This greatly reduces situations where a character goes down before healing can catch up.Reworked Special AttacksWe've also reworked special attacks to make them easier to use. For Rushing Slash and Spinni…
