    Launcher name fix

  • Truck & Traction Fixes - Oct 12 - 12 October 2026

A dump truck and quality-of-life update: a new low-bed dump truck, a much nicer XP reward, smoother machine sounds, and a camera that stays out of your way. Dump truck New low-bed dump truck in white and grey, with a protective plate over the cab. The tailgate swings out from the bottom, so dirt no longer gets stuck under it when you tip. Tail lights are built into the bed and no longer poke through when dumping. Chunks slide out of the bed properly when you tip it. XP rewards New XP sound. A soft blip that climbs in pitch as chunks land, instead of a pile of explosions that kept getting louder. Clearer +XP text that sits right above the chunk that earned it. The XP shown matches the XP you get. Dirt chunks flash white again when they pay out. Chunks still in a bucket no longer pay early. XP comes when they land in the truck. Machines The excavator arm responds straight away when you ge…

  • Diggin' Deeper - Oct 9 - 9 October 2026

Patch Notes New Semi truck now has engine sounds, including gear-shift blips. Dump truck has a new low-sided tray, making it much easier to load with the excavator. Barge hitch point redesigned: an animated ring now shows exactly how close the tug needs to be to hook up. Digging Digging now produces a lot more dirt per scoop. Bigger dust clouds when digging and when chunks land. XP feedback reworked: chunks flash when they score, the XP sound no longer stacks, and XP tags fan out instead of overlapping. Fixed XP tags sometimes showing the wrong amount. Vehicles & Boats Small crane truck: the boom stays where you left it when you get out, outriggers now slide out, and hook spin is limited. Skidsteer bucket no longer swings the long way round. Reduced excavator bucket shaking and clipping. Tug now rides the ocean swell, and boats lean more naturally. Thanks for playing and reporting bugs!

  • Digging Refinements - Oct 7 - 7 October 2026

A digging-focused update: the excavator now carves out proper clumps of dirt, kicks up dust, and the bucket shakes far less when you dig hard. Digging Dirt comes from the cut. Excavator dirt chunks now appear right where the bucket carves the ground, instead of popping into the bucket out of nowhere. Much more dirt. Digging produces far more chunks, so a full scoop actually looks full. Chunks match the ground instead of glowing green. Cartoon dust. Puffs of dust burst from the cut as you dig, and when dirt lands in a truck or on a pile. Much less bucket shake. The excavator bucket and arm no longer get knocked around by freshly dug dirt when you dig into heavy ground. Rocks under the dig site are solid and now block your bucket and your worker. No more swimming in deep holes. Walking around the bottom of a deep dig no longer switches you to swimming. Excavator Look around from the cab.…

  • The Sea Comes Alive - Oct 6 - 6 October 2026

The sea has come alive: gentle rolling waves now run in to the shore, and the boats ride them. This build also rebuilds barge towing from the ground up, lets you walk around properly on the tugboat and tanker decks, and fixes a list of crane truck annoyances. The sea Rolling waves. Long, smooth swells now roll in from the open sea towards the beach. The water near the shore and the dock stays calmer. Everyone sees the same waves. A boat bobbing on your screen is on the same wave as on your friend's. Swimming rides the waves. Your worker now rises and falls with the swell instead of sitting still while the water moves around them. Tugboat and tanker Walk around on the decks. The tug and tanker decks now match the shape of the boats, so you can walk on them without bumping into invisible walls. The camera no longer zooms right into your worker when you stand on the tug. Boats lean and rol…

  • New Vehicle: Crane! - Oct 2 - 1 October 2026

A new machine joins the yard: a small crane truck with a hook on a real swinging rope. Use it to lift loads or to pull a stuck vehicle out of the pit, even with someone still inside. This build also adds a reset switch for the digging pit, moves the landslides out onto the roads, and fixes up the tugboat and barge. New: small crane truck Find it in the yard next to the other vehicles, or order one from the garage menu. Drive it like any other vehicle. Hold right mouse (LB on a gamepad) to work the crane instead. The wheels and camera stay still while you do. Crane controls while holding right mouse: A / D swings the boom, W / S raises and lowers it, Shift extends it and Space pulls it back in. Mouse wheel works the winch. Scroll down once to start letting rope out, scroll up once to start winding it in, and scroll the other way to stop. E hooks, Q lets go. Lower the hook onto a crate, p…

  • Job Time - Sep 29 - 29 September 2026

Gary the Site Foreman has work for you. This build turns the one-off landslide into three repeatable jobs anyone can take at any time, including players who join a server late, and gives your hauling proper feedback. Jobs from Gary Talk to Gary to open the job board. Pick a job to read what it needs, then accept it. A marker leads you there and fills as you make progress. Landslide Clearance (150 XP). Dig out the landslide completely. As soon as it is gone, a new one comes down somewhere else in the yard, so there is always one to clear. Dirt Delivery (60 XP). Tip 20 chunks of dug dirt into the dirt bays by the small building in the east compound. There are bays on both sides, each marked on the ground. Dirt Refining (60 XP). Feed 20 chunks into the shredder. They bounce on the teeth, turn red and drop through, and each one that makes it through counts. Work together. Every chunk anyone…

  • Haul Day - Sep 25 - 25 September 2026

This build is about playing together and about the machines you haul with: ride in the skidsteer bucket, a semi that can finally pull, a trailer that stays upright, and a wheelbarrow that fills itself. Ride in the bucket You can stand in the skidsteer bucket and be lifted. An invisible box that used to hold you a foot above the floor is gone, the inside of the bucket is now a proper tub, and you stay planted while the driver curls it. Climbing in no longer makes the arm twitch. Everyone sees the bucket curl. Other players used to see the skidsteer bucket stutter or not move at all. Dirt stays in the skidsteer bucket. Chunks no longer poke out through the back of the bucket. The skidsteer arm has its strength back. It had quietly lost most of its lifting and pushing power in the last build. Excavator arms move for everyone, including for players who join late. Semi truck and trailer The…

  • Playtest Build - 23 Sep 2026 - 22 September 2026

This is a minor patch to fix freeze/arm snapping on entering excavator

  • Playtest build – 22 Sep 2026 - 22 September 2026

This build is about the vehicles. The LandCruiser finally goes fast, the dump truck stops skating, and the skidsteer plays fair with the truck bed. LandCruiser It has a top speed now. A leftover hover-vehicle setting was quietly braking the LandCruiser above 25 km/h. It is gone, and the car reaches its real top speed of about 70 km/h. Steering and suspension retuned for that speed. Less lock the faster you go, springs that keep the wheels inside the arches, and rear tyres that no longer give up all at once. It should push wide gently in a fast corner instead of snapping the tail out or lifting a wheel. Dump truck It was driving on invisible balls. The wheels had hidden rigid collision spheres, so the truck skidded on them instead of using its tyres. Removed. The truck now drives on its suspension, accelerates properly and is far less tippy in corners. Firmer, better damped suspension so…

  • Dump Truck Update, 22 September 2026 - 22 September 2026

The dump truck got a proper going-over this week: the handling bug that made it feel stuck to the ground is fixed, the engine finally pulls like a diesel, and it has a new set of sounds. Dump Truck Handling Fixed the truck dragging on hidden wheel colliders. The chassis was resting on six invisible rigid balls instead of its suspension, which made it sluggish, capped its speed at about 10 km/h and made it tip in corners. It now rides on the suspension as intended. Removed a heavy hidden chassis damping that acted like a permanent brake. Re-shaped the engine torque curve into a proper diesel curve: strongest pull around 1600 RPM, easing off toward the limiter, so a gear change no longer lands in a dead spot. Sound New gear-shift blip. A short throttle blip plays as the gearbox drops into neutral on every up- and down-shift, pitched to the engine speed at the moment of the shift. The engi…

  • # Playtest build – 21 Sep 2026 - 21 September 2026

This build is all about the excavator. If you only have ten minutes, spend them digging. Excavator digging Dig deeper. The main yard is now diggable roughly 11 m down instead of about half a bucket. Go find the bottom. The bite starts on contact. The cut and the dig sound trigger the moment the teeth touch the ground, not after the bucket is buried. The dig sound plays once per contact instead of repeating as you move. The whole bucket carves. The back wall and the top rim now remove terrain too, so dragging a buried bucket around no longer leaves ground poking through the shell. The cut also keeps up with fast pushes and quick swings. Dirt chunks come from the dig. Chunks now appear with the cut, and how many you get depends on how much ground you actually removed: a light scrape gives almost nothing, a full bite gives several. They spread across the bucket width and roll out one at a…

  • Playtest build 0.28 – 18 September 2026 - 18 September 2026

A small update focused on the excavator and the dig site, based on yesterday's session. Thanks for the reports. Excavator Swinging the cab no longer twists the tracks underneath you. The undercarriage is now much heavier and the cab and arm much lighter, so the machine stays planted while you slew. The cab camera follows the cab as it rotates. The exterior camera stays with the tracks. Digging now triggers right at the teeth. The cut and the dig sound fire when the bucket edge touches the ground instead of after it has sunk in. Bucket weight corrected. The machine no longer pitches forward when you lift the bucket as if it were full of lead. Cab rotation ramps in and out more smoothly. Engine torque and suspension retuned for the heavier body. Tell us if it feels sluggish to drive or turn, or if the wheels sit wrong in the tracks. Dig site The main yard is now deep. You can dig down rou…

  • Excavator Gamepad, Dirt Chunks and Prompt Fixes - Sep 17 - 17 September 2026

Excavator - Gamepad support fixed: with the left shoulder held, the boom and second arm now move on the sticks. Bucket curl and body rotation were already working; the arms were not. Hold left shoulder to dig, release it to drive and look around. - The on-screen prompts now show the real keys for bucket curl (Q and E) and for leaving the excavator. They used to read "Any". Dirt chunks - Dirt chunks landing on the terrain now dig into it reliably. Only glancing, tumbling hits were registering before; a chunk that landed flat did nothing. - The hole a chunk makes now appears where it landed. When a chunk had been thrown or dumped by another player's machine, the hole could appear back where the chunk was first picked up. Skidsteer - Reversing over terrain with the bucket down no longer spawns dirt chunks inside the bucket. Digging while reversing still cuts the ground. - The arm and bucke…

  • Digging and Name Tag Fixes - Sep 15 - 15 September 2026

Multiplayer performance - Server frame rate no longer drops when several players dig at once. Terrain collision updates were stalling the server on every dig; in our test with four players digging continuously the server now holds full speed. Skidsteer - Thin patches of dirt left on roads and hard ground can now be scraped off. The bucket cuts slightly below its cutting edge, and digging registers reliably where dirt meets a road surface. - Dirt chunks only come out while the bucket is actually moving through dirt. A parked bucket resting against the ground no longer keeps producing chunks. - Each bite fills the bucket with a full row of chunks again instead of a single chunk. - Chunks no longer spawn inside the bucket floor, which was bouncing the bucket up as they appeared. Name tags - Player name tags now show correctly while driving. They were drifting off into the sky whenever a pl…

  • Crane and Cargo Fixes - Sep 10 - 10 September 2026

Crane - Grabbed objects now sit rigidly on the hook instead of swinging freely beneath it. - Raising and lowering the winch no longer makes the hook and load bounce, and the load settles quickly when the winch stops. - Dropped objects no longer stutter as they land. The hand-off happens once the object has come to rest. Vehicles - Fixed workers falling through the ground or floating above it when exiting a vehicle. Exiting the excavator now finds solid ground too. Cargo and Trailer - Fixed items placed on an unhitched flatbed trailer teleporting away to the edge of the map. Known issues - The flatbed trailer's landing legs can only be operated while it is hitched to a truck.
