  A Burn buys a move. Heat changes the whole fight. In Ember Covenant, the Furnace belongs to both sides. Before burning a card, look at what the extra Ember lets you do — and what the hotter Furnace lets your enemy do next. Burn: the basic trade A normal Burn removes that card for the rest of the fight, grants 2 Ember, and raises shared Heat by 3. Keeper abilities, relics, and other bonuses can change that trade. Mora's Kindle grants one additional Ember from burning. Ember is capped at 9, so check whether you can actually use the gain. Burning a card does not play its normal ability. Some cards have a separate Cinder effect that can trigger when its Heat requirement is met; read the Burn preview before confirming.   The September update is now live on Steam. Return to the pilgrimage with a new scene soundtrack, tougher battles, and clearer information when choosing upgrades and completing Litanies.
